Matthew Caleb

Matthew Caleb is the owner and design leader for the company. Matthew has 12 years in the industry. He started running around green houses at a very young age helping where he could and playing around plants, this sparked a life long interest and rocketed him in a direction of design, beauty, and horticulture. At the age of 15 and a half he got a Job at Petitti’s Garden Center in Tallmadge, Ohio. He was hired as a seasonal help, but was quickly noted for an eye of design and plant knowledge by Mr. Angelo Petitti. Angelo then moved him to stores to work under the head designers for the company, Michael Shaffer and Karen Barrows. It was here where he really started to learn installation, design techniques, and of course customers service. From this point he began working with clients, learning how to make their dreams a reality while also learning the mechanics necessary to achieve those goals.

Matthew is Classicly trained but adds a flare of “dense wild garden” to his design. With this technique he is continually teaching his customers how to add elements from their own yard into arrangements. He hopes to have a few more store locations around the United States in years to come.

Grant is our resident ceramicist as well as one of our floral designers. He has been working with clay for 12 years, studied Industrial Design, and has taught various ceramics classes including, wheel throwing and hand building. His work exemplifies a wide variety of techniques and often incorporates elements of his drawings and his fascination with naturally occurring patterns. Grant’s lack of formal floral training coupled with his background in 3D design produce a non traditional floral style that places greens and negative spaces on the same pedestal as flowers
